The impact strategy scholarship includes: developing strategic goals with the filmmakers, interviews with stakeholders (which may include outreach to entities with influence, government agencies, members of Congress, education institutions, private businesses, experts in the field, etc.), and designing a plan for maximum impact, which can include screenings, press, large-scale events, coalition-building, social media and creative advertisements. Each strategy is tailored-made based on the filmmaker's desires, needs, and budget. Please familiarize yourself with our impact strategy offering before applying.
Requirements: The documentary must be premiering or have premiered after September 2023, with existing goals through 2024. The budget for the film (including distribution) must not exceed $1.5 million.
